What is THCA?
Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCA) is the non-psychoactive precursor to THC, CBD, and many other cannabinoids and terpenes. In its raw form, THCA has an extra carboxyl molecule ring attached to its chain.
When heat is applied — through smoking, vaping, or cooking — a process called decarboxylation occurs, removing the carboxyl group and converting THCA into psychoactive THC that binds to CB1 receptors. This is why our infused joints, loaded with THCA diamonds, deliver such potent effects when smoked.
